Job Description: We are looking for a History Teacher to start in the new year - 4th January 2021.
The role is 2 terms January - July 2021 initially.
You will be teaching, inspiring & bringing History to life within this large & over subscribed Secondary school. You will be teaching in the desirable Home County of Essex - situated to the east of London with access to the Essex Coastline, city of London & set in stunning countryside.
As a History Teacher, you will be required to design, plan & execute uplifting KS3 & GCSE History lessons. Our children are switched on, eager to learn & you will teach in a lively classroom environment.
We do have a 6th Form & History is also a popular A Level subject. We are looking for a History Teacher of the highest calibre who is capable of making a positive contribution to teaching and learning.
Our school can offer our new History Teacher excellent induction, training & support - especially as an NQT as we are the "lead school" for Initial Teacher Training. Profesional development is open to all experienced History Teachers & those beginning their teaching career.
