Job Description: SharePoint Engineer – SC Cleared – 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a SharePoint Engineer to work for a leading UK IT Solutions Provider based in London.

My client requires an experienced SharePoint Consultant / SharePoint Engineer who is comfortable relocating to Germany for 12 months cased approximately 10km from Munich International Airport.

This unique opportunity will allow the successful SharePoint Engineer to work on site at one of my client’s high-profile customer which is why having SC Clearance is essential.

The following tasks are covered in the mentioned document:

Installation and configuration of MS Windows Server, Software Maintenance.
Installation and configuration of MS SQL Server, Software Maintenance.
Database Administration.
Database Backup and Restore/Recovery for the complete MS SharePoint environment including applications (Apps and more), content or definitions only.
Installation and configuration of MS IIS and MS SharePoint, Software Maintenance (including all prerequisites).
Implementation of the agreed MS SharePoint Architecture including maintenance (Servers, Databases, IIS, Site Collections for Web Applications and eventually more).
Creation and maintenance of a MS SharePoint Farm Design (one or more) which is specific for the Customer.
Integration of MS SharePoint in the existing Infrastructure
Support for MS SharePoint by Infrastructure Management.
MS SharePoint Server Administration – Databases.
MS SharePoint Server Operations.
SSL Certificates Maintenance.
MS SharePoint User Administration.
Administration of permission policy levels for user and groups for web site collections, web applications (includes administration of connections of users to permission policy levels).
Installation and rollout of applications (and solutions).
MS SharePoint Web Application Creation and Maintenance (general setting and configuration).
Configuration of the environment for Apps.
Management of the App Catalogue.
Addition of Apps to Sites, removal from Sites.
Monitoring.
The successful SharePoint Engineer can expect a desirable salary along with expenses to help cover accommodation.
