Job Description: At present we are looking for a Systems Engineering with strong experience in electronic warfare. The Systems Engineer will be working within the systems engineering design team alongside hardware software and mechanical design engineers. This role will form part of the NATOJEWCS project and will have a strong emphasis on requirements.
The Systems Engineer will also interface with project managers, and other supporting functions, to deliver project specific goals. The role is based at Bournemouth Airport (working from home for the immediate future) and is available on an initial 6-month contract.
The Systems Engineer will cover the full development cycle from requirements capture, system level design, concept development, simulation, prototyping, build, through to verification and production handover.
As a Systems Engineer, your main responsibilities will involve:
* Contribution, generation and review of system development, analyses, verification and validation documentation.
* Conduct systematic studies to analyse and inform system integration dependencies, behaviours and outputs.
* Plan and deliver design review documentation at product and system level.
* Present at Design Reviews.
* Generation and review of system change impact assessments.
* Support the definition and agreement of system integration methodology and planning within the discipline area.
* Identify and escalate risks and opportunities, which may have a direct / indirect effect on the technical delivery of the system lifecycle or product.
* Provide support to the technical leadership team in all areas of the system lifecycle and delivering the system solution.
* Ensure compliance with legislative & regulatory requirements
The Senior Systems Engineer will have
* Strong experience with requirements in an aerospace or defence type organisation
* Electronics, Electrical or Avionics degree or equivalent time-served experience
* RF experience
* Experience with electronic warfare products
