Are you a talented, passionate secondary school teacher with SEN experience looking for a new challenge? Or are you new to teaching and want to really make a difference?

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with the commitment and drive to make a real difference to the lives of our student’s.

We are looking for someone with secondary school, post 16 or sixth form experience. You will have the ability to personalise learning for each student in the room, at the same time as managing the classroom and deploying the team of excellent and experienced learning support staff effectively. Your ability to think creatively and engage positively with pupils with a broad range of highly complex needs will enable you to lead class groups in all aspects of the curriculum. You will have the presence and experience to ensure the engagement of children and young people in consistently impactful lessons. Innovative, creative and enthusiastic, you will be willing and able to make a broader contribution to school life alongside our multi-disciplinary teams and able to deliver real change for our wonderful children.

You will need to have qualified teaching status in the UK and the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues across the Centre. Previous SEN experience including having worked with pupils/students with PMLD is desirable, but not essential. What matters to us is that you have a passion for helping children and young people with complex needs reach their full potential. We will provide full induction, training and support to those who come from a mainstream teaching background. Whilst experience is desirable, care and passion for changing lives is essential. Therefore, we would also consider colleagues who are in the early stages of their teaching career who can demonstrate that drive, care and passion.

If you are looking to relocate we may consider offering subsidised on-site staff accommodation (subject to availability) which is available for up to 2 years.
