Job Description: Warehouse Operatives (Day and Night Shifts)

Salary: £8.72 per hour for Days; £10.67 per hour for Nights

Location: Stansted Airport

Logic 360 is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for a few clients based at Stansted Airport and the surrounding area.

Our clients offer logistical solutions to a wide variety of internationally based clients. Their facilities take care of customs clearance, handling and distribution of perishable cargo.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and must be able to complete tasks quickly, efficiently and to a high standard in large volumes for distribution.

The ideal applicant should have some previous warehouse experience; however full training will be given, and ideally, live within the Stansted area.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Loading/unloading freight pallets and general cargo
Sorting parcels
Picking/Packing
Intake/specific count and reporting of damage on high volume units
General warehouse duties

Candidate Requirements:

All applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK
Valid Passport/ID
Proof of Address and National Insurance Number
5 years' check-able work history (employment /education/ benefit claim/ gap)
Clean Disclosure/ Criminal Record Check
Must be willing to undergo relevant training as required
Must be flexible with working hours (evening and weekend)
Forklift Licence - Reach and Counterbalance (preferred but this is not essential)
Must be Level D trained (preferred but not essential)

Skills Requirements:

Able to follow instructions and to work as part of a team
Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and always maintain highest standards of safety and security
Good working knowledge of Airside Operations at Stansted Airport
Working knowledge of airline and/or ground handling processes is an advantage
Good communicator and excellent organisation skills
Must be physically fit as the role may require lifting of items of up to 25kg This is a full-time role with Day and Night shifts available.
